According to the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority's (TCRA) latest report, there are more than 60 million SIM cards currently active in Tanzania. 

Vodacom has the highest number of sim card subscribers, followed by Airtel.

The report also shows that Dar es Salaam has the highest number of most active sim cards by region, followed by Mwanza.
